Claritti exists to make health science clearer — to explain what the research says, where it is promising, and where the evidence is still catching up. But explaining science is not the same as practising medicine, and it matters that we are clear about the difference.
Education, not medical advice
Everything published by Claritti — on this website, in the newsletter, and on our social channels — is general information for educational purposes. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a treatment recommendation. Reading Claritti does not create a doctor–patient or practitioner–client relationship of any kind.
Talk to your doctor first
Your health context is yours: your history, your medications, your circumstances. Research findings describe groups and averages — they cannot tell you what is right for you specifically. Before starting, stopping or changing any supplement, therapy, medication or treatment, talk to a qualified health professional who knows your situation. This matters especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a medical condition, or taking prescription medication.
The evidence keeps moving
Claritti works hard to represent research accurately at the time of writing — naming studies, noting limitations, and separating what is promising from what is proven. But science updates itself; that is the point of it. Findings get refined, replicated or overturned, and we cannot guarantee any piece of content remains current indefinitely.
If something feels urgent
Never delay seeking medical care, or disregard professional medical advice, because of something you read here. If you are concerned about your health, contact your doctor. In an emergency in Australia, call 000.
Curiosity is useful. Confusion is expensive. And your doctor knows you better than any study does.
